    @Forester_Pete I think it is time to just wait and see or you could post a photo of this plant actually growing in your garden it might help.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    I was away for a week and the lump has flowered. Seems to like it in this garden so will separate and spread then about one day. Hesperantha it is then.
