Is Black Hamburg Grape Vine any good for eating?

  Definitely yes.  It is an eating grape.  Muscat grapes are nice but seedy.  I am eating some now.  Black and white.

  As @tui34 says, it's one of the best grapes for eating. Does well outside in the UK too - or at least here in the SW.

  But our Black Hamburg grapes are full of pips. We are harvesting them already.

  Black hamburg grapes aren't far off double figures for pips, I removed mine never ate them with so many pips in them

  I found BH small grapes sweet and good and pips are edible. Large grapes, no, huge pips not edible unless you remove the pips.

  Ours has lots of pips as well. We tend to juice them.

  But I do deseed them and when we have a glut (which we do) I then freeze some for use later in the year. They do freeze well. If it gets to a point that eating them fresh, freezing others and still giving more away we make wine from the rest.
