Loads of ripe blackberries here, shame I’m not too keen on them. As far as cultivating them, I find that all you have to do is turn your back, next time you look, the things will have taken over the garden.
Lots here in Dordogne too. Often it's too dry and they aren't much good but this year we've had thunderstorms. Blackberry and apple pie is OH's favourite. I made one last week.
