Identification

Can anyone tell me what this tall lilac coloured plant is? It looks like a type of Scabious but the flower is much smaller. I love it as it attracts so many bees and I think it looks great with the Crocosmia and Physocarpus

    I think it could be Succisa pratensis, common name Devil's-bit Scabious.  It's a native plant and a very pretty one, in my opinion.  I love those neat round buds...
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    It’s beautiful! I know the Crocosmia and I like the combination
