Shrub ID please.

Could someone please help identify this shrub?  My guess (could very well be wrong) is that it's a Euonymus, but if it is, which one?  I want to order another one for a different wall trellis.  Many thanks.

    It's possibly E. Silver Queen.

Or E. Emerald Gaiety, the other widely-available green-and-white one.

If you aren't in a hurry you could take cuttings, then you'd be sure of the same variety.

  • Thankyou for replying Anni and Jenni.
I probably should take a cutting, but I would ideally like to have one that has some good growth already to cover the trellis more quickly.

@SaraPine It does take sometime for Euonymous to climb. Years to establish as in your photo.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

They're common enough that many garden centres/DIY places with an outdoor garden section will have them. You could take a sprig off the existing one with you when you go shopping to compare and choose the most similar variety.
