Hello there!

These were discounted at my local nursery as the labels were missing. Does anybody know what they are? Thanks in advance.

Looks like Pennisetum Rubrum.  It's not hardy in the UK so will need winter protection.  That's a nice plant you have!
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

Yes, I'd have bought that if I'd seen it  :)
    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

Really rather tender, will need a heated g/h over winter.
How can you lie there and think of England

I don't think I'd have bought it at this time of year (no greenhouse to overwinter). Might it be possible to collect seeds from it to sow next spring?
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • I'm a bit gutted it's not hardy as I was planning on sticking it in the border. I've potted them up for the patio and will put them in my loft room through winter.
    Thank you everyone!
