Hydrangeas

Bought some H. Candybelle Bubblegum. They’re not as pink as I’d hoped. Is there anything I can add to the soil to pink them up a bit…? Thanks.

No - the white ones don't change with the pH. They will often have oink  tinges as they mature and fade with autumn.
Is it meant to be a pink variety? If so, I'd guess that's been incorrectly labelled.

and one of the pics shows a very whitish flower... maybe I should contact them to see what they say...

Some hydrangeas start out white and over the course of a few weeks turn pink.
I have Vanille Fraise which does that - it's a different type of hydrangea, but yours may do the same.
Mine is just starting to turn from white to pink-

That's what I was meaning @Pete.8, but this variety seems to be pink in colour to start with.
    I would contact them @Janie B - they're  a very good company  :)

I wonder if it becomes pinker with age - and by that I mean that a more mature plant will produce pinker flowers. It looks quite young, so perhaps that's a possibility?
Also - if it's in a shadier spot, it may be a bit pinker with a little more sun?
Worth checking with them though.  :)

That looks lovely @Pete.8 . I have had mine for a couple of years, and they never turn any pinker. I'll take photos over the next couple of weeks to see if they change, but somehow I doubt they will...

Thanks @Janie B I think you'll need to speak with the supplier to find out.
Maybe as @Silver surfer and @Fairygirl say, you've been sent the wrong variety

It looks like my Annabelle,   Very thin stalks and very heavy flower heads.

Yes, @Lyn, I agree. I have several Annabelles, these ones seem even more heavy headed than them!
