Storing Potatoes

Can I store a potato that appears to have a small slug hole in it ?
Thankfully these are few and far between but tend to be the bigger potatoes !

I separate damaged potatoes and use them first.

Same here, they may keep a while but can cause rot in others later, if they deteriorate.
