Blinking garden pests, something is eating my lower hanging tomatoes

. I can't grow stawberries or raspberries, the dog eats them. I can't use any sort of pellet fertiliser, the dog eats it. I can't use milk against mildew, guess what, the dog eats the treated leaves. And now he's eating green tomatoes. Not the best dog food, Alfie, no wonder you were sick!
Looks like I'll have to get some chicken mesh or something to put round the plants while there are reachable tomatoes on them. Thank goodness he'll small.

Only one hen left and she got in the polytunnel last week - scoffed most of the salad leaves and grazed chunks out of several low hanging tomatoes.
I'd love to have hens, @o@Obelixx. We used to have rescues in the UK from the British Hen Welfare Trust, but Alfie would a) chase them, b) guzzle their eggs and c) spend all day eating chicken poo. Yes, another canine gastronomic delight. Thankfully it's only the one, Millie is more ladylike and picky.
