What is this plant?

Hello everyone!
Can anyone kindly shed light as to what this random plant is (i am assuming, wild flower)??
Its a single long stem with many heads shooting off... and they have green bulbs which I am assuming are flowers waiting to bloom!
Thanks in advance!

Euphorbia lathyris … a frequent pop-up in gardens as it selfseed a freely and catapults it’s seeds some distance.

Can look amazing in the right place, but beware of the white sap which can burn the skin, especially in sunny weather.

The flowers aren't big, noticeable  flowers though, because they're just the tiny little bits inside the bracts that these plants produce   :)

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Supposed to repel moles - but not in my experience.

My normal caveat about white latex-like sap.  Whilst it might burn some people in some weather, far worse is that like latex glue, it becomes impossble to remove from any clothing.

Thanks everyone! I usually root them out long before they grow this tall... as I always assumed they were a weed of some sort! Good to know what they actually are...
