Plant ID please

Saw this yesterday at The Courts Garden in Wiltshire, any ideas?  Thanks 😀

    Cleome - Spider plant
    I grow them from seed and they can get up to about 7ft.

  • Thabk you both so much!  Strangely I had bought some seeds this year. But not got around to planting.  They are beautiful.

    They're interesting plants that look very different to many border plants. Once they get underway they grow quickly.
    They do produce some quite severe thorns on the stems as they age.
    The 'perfume' is not dissimilar to that produced by cannabis! The leaves don't look dissimilar either. The leaves and stems are also covered in tiny sticky hairs - also reminiscent of cannabis..
