Twin raspberries

Hello, Can anyone explain why one of the raspberry canes I have is producing ‘twin’ berries please? They seem to be mostly a normal berry but with a smaller ‘twin’ growing in one side. Thank you

    I've had lots of similar berries from my blackberry.
    If 2 berries are forming very close to each other, as they develop and press together they merge, slowly become a single double-berry.
    That's from my observations.

    Just picking the last of my blackberries and found another double-
