Potted cranberry

Hello All im growing a cranberry plant in a pot. My worry is that it doesnt seem to be growing upwards.  It  now looks like it is growing out of the pot.
I  guess im also concerned that there are no cranberries and i was told that it was easy to grow.
Does anyone have any suggestions

It looks to me as if your plant is the trailing form of cranberry. More info here https://www.jacksonsnurseries.co.uk/grow-your-own-cranberry-bush.html

Thanks for your reply. I bought it online and there was no mention that it was a trailing variety but its been nearly a year and it doesnt seem to have gotten taller so this is a good possible reason . This is the one i bought

Looking at that link it says

    Plant Size

    Mature Height15 cm
    Mature Spread40 cm

so yes, that’ll be the ‘prostrate’ type usually grown as an ornamental shrub for ground cover.

Please don't give up on it. Pilgrim, which the referenced article, recommends is a prostrate variety, and from my personal experience it fruits well. I vaguely recall Bob Flowerdew mentioning growing them (for fruit) and he grew the prostrate type and ran a mower over them to prune them back.
    kind regards

I have moved it to a trough shaped planter if its expected to spread . I do have a patch of empty soil that is about 1 square meter but i think its too small to spread around it  so will keep it in the trough
