Jeyes Fluid will damage your soil and all the important invertebrates that live in it. It is also a deadly poison to mammals including pets.

When we moved to this garden some years ago we found a heavy infestation of vine weevils in part of the garden. We used these

… two applications according to the instructions on the pack.

We have also encouraged wildlife into the garden, and the hedgehogs rootle around in the undergrowth feeding on beetles and weevils and we no longer have a vine weevil problem.

However it should be remembered that while vine weevil larvae can cause damage to the roots of some perennials, adult vine weevil damage to leaves can be unsightly but it is very unlikely to cause real harm to hedges like laurel.

If you can post a photo of the hedge, along with more information - ie location [approximate] climate and general conditions, that will help with advice.
Is it new? Old? Against a wall or fence? Other planting around it? Prep and care if newly planted?
Many bay laurels get damaged by wind, sun/weather, so it may be something else entirely unless you're absolutely sure it's weevils. Vine weevil tends to be an aesthetic problem in many cases, but isn't terminal if the hedge is otherwise healthy, as @Dovefromabove says    :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Jeyes Fluid will kill the leaves.

Are you sure that the hedge is Bay laurel?  Nice but rather expensive.
location: Surrey Hills, England, ex-woodland acidic sand.
