How to fix sleepers to raised bed base?

Hi! I’m trying to figure out how best to fix these softwood sleepers to my concrete raised bed bases- any good ideas? ( the blocks are not hollow) Also any recommendations for oil or varnish to extend their life gratefully received. Thanks!

As the sleepers overhang the base I would use metal right angle brackets at each corner.
