  Goodness, what a thread, and what an insultingly worded title. If any moderators are reading this, can I put in a plea for the option to ‘ignore’ posters with a private profile? It’s certainly improved my enjoyment of this forum to have a handful of posters blocked, and seems unfair that the current system favours potential trolls and troublemakers who choose to keep their profiles ‘ private’. There is no obligation to tell the truth, or to disclose too much personal information ( and plenty of reason not to ) so the trolls can still register and post, but at least we can then block anyone who proves unpleasant or behaves inappropriately.
