jasminoides trachelospermum

Hi all

Quick question.  My jasminoide's leaves, (it is in a pot) are turning brown and red already!  I know it's been a bit colder than usual but it's only July?  Is anybody else having the same problem?  Or do you think there is something else going wrong and I should repot it?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi, how big is the pot and how big is the plant? Initial thoughts would be that perhaps it's been to dry and is preparing to drop a few leaves to cope. This can happen if the pot is to small for the plant or we get lots of drying winds (it's been very windy here for us but rainy, but pots dry out quickly and often aren't watered by the rain), it's caught us out a few times this year where I've spotted a pot that desperately needs water even though we've had a biblical downpour.

So I'd check the moisture levels of the soil to begin with and if the plant is quite large or has been in the pot a while, check to see if the roots have taken up most of the compost which means it's hard to keep them watered.
