Plant Feed

Because I have poor Drainage and the soil seems always wet, I have been turning organic compost in as and when I can manage it. However, regarding Plant Feed, would it be advisable to use something in dry form? ( as opposed to Miracle Gro which is diluted in Water?). I do not water as often as I think I should because of the wet conditions that seem to exist constantly so I am thinking of steering away from something that requires dilution?

Most plants will get all the nutrition they need from the soil and as you've been digging in organic stuff that should help too.
Unless your plants are in need of additional feeding there's no need for more fertilizer.

I use a small amount of Blood, Fish and Bone in early spring around my borders and maybe again around June, but I think that's more of a habit of mine rather than a need of the plants..
I do often get lots of manure that I spread on the borders in spring.

I do the same as @Pete.8, no need to feed if you are adding organic matter to your soil, BF&B in early spring and June but I avoid feeding grasses and some other perennials which grow better without any supplements.
