    Looks like bindweed in the leftmost section of the last photo.
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,

    @Eustace I think that’s Ground Ivy and a little sorrel type plant.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Well, I'd always thought Woundwort was a form of deadnettle - I am now educated, thank you everyone!  That was the plant I was thinking of, with the unpleasant smell - daughter had it growing through her rhubarb plants and it was really hard to get rid of.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
