It may do, but there won't be as many flowers as in the first flush.
Usually they're chopped right back to the ground, fresh leaves appear in a few days and grow quickly - and maybe more flowers in a few weeks.

We have a similar one but pale pink it is almost white.
Pretty much as Pete.8 says with ours. We do not get many new flowers after dead heading, but it is in a somewhat shaded site.
I keep meaning to try a little weak tomato feed to see if it helps a re flower boost.

The seed heads are nice, yours looks lovely in that pot I can understand why you like them.

You are going to have to split it next year, and do one of each.

I bought 3 of these off a seller on Ebay in March as giant plug plants and the other 2 are in pots like this one. They have been flowering non stop since May and have filled the pots they are in and I am so pleased with them they are lovely, the seller called them Orkney Cherry. I might buy more as plugs next year for pots and pop these in the garden in spring..

Why not divide the ones you have? They are great spreaders. I have to pull some of mine out to stop it taking over
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I'd do that too, divide the one you have - that kind spread quickly, too quickly sometimes!

It's best to chop all the dead flowers off, and you may get a 2nd flush as @Pete.8 says. I only deadhead ones which are longer flowering, and once they're done that's it as it's too late for any repeat show. I have a white one which is flowering better than it's ever done, but it'll be too late for any more once it stops.
I cut back to get new foliage on earlier flowered ones, although we rarely get a 2nd flush of anything here, because it depends on when they originally start  as to whether that happens.

They are lovely, but they're not Orkney Cherry, which has smaller, deeper pink flowers against bronzed leaves.
