Pumpkin Help

Hi there, I’ve been growing pumpkins in my garden for the last few years. This year I’ve decided to grow Jack O Lanterns, however I have noticed I have what looks like 2 different types of pumpkins. Please see image. I’ve got the usual looking ones and then this yellow one. It’s been yellow since before the flower. What do we think has happened ? It seems to be thriving but just not sure what’s happened. Any help identifying it would be much appreciated.

The green one looks uncannily like one of the round courgettes, such as Chiaro di nizza.

The yellow one I guess is a round yellow squash.

There is also the possibility that it has been affected by cold. That is, normal light green pumpkins can turn yellow prior to flowering due to cool nights and excess water at the roots.

They usually don't come to anything and just drop off.

What is unusual about OP's pumpkin is the yellow stalk.

I would expect the yellow one to drop off very soon, the flower end looks different as well. I suspect it hasn't been pollinated and will be aborted.

Are all those pumpkins coming from the same plant?  I am growing a pumpkin variety "Galeux D'Eysines".  I have 6 nice looking yellow pumpkins growing from 2 plants.

Yes the yellow one doesn’t seem to be swelling at all. Seems to be stuck at the size it is now
