I’ve only just found out what this plant is. I’ve had it for over eight years. I’ve not been kind to it as it never came up with the goodies until now. Poor little plant. But I’ve just read that it’s supposed to flower in winter.

It looks like a viticella type to me. It looks more purple than my Mme Julia Correvon (she's a brighter red, and flowers later), but deep red/purple colours don't always come out true on pictures and screens so I can't be sure.
