  Usually the flowers and tops droop and they May yellow too.
  you could always have a feel around the roots as you should be able to locate the tubers.

  I tried second Earlies this year , Charlotte...... the best tasting I've had yet. Dug a root up while still in flower; only small but bigger by the week from then.
