Lavender and rosemary

Hello, I've read that these two plants grow well together. But I can't find any information on how close they can be. I have 2 medium sized lavender plants and I was thinking of putting the rosemary in the middle, how much space would I need? I would quite like to cut the lavender back a bit anyway as they are spreading our quite a lot! Thanks 🙏🏻

Both mine have about a 2 foot spread but obviously you can cut them back as required. I have both and they do seem to grow well together about 3 feet apart. The only problem I had in my last house was couch grass growing through the root ball of my lavender plants so had to dig them up regularly to remove grass but no problem in my present house. Watch out for bees they love lavender.

It depends on the rosemary and the lavender.  My rosemary would get at least 4 ft wide if I let it and lavender comes in all shapes and sizes - sparwly or small and neat.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
