Astrantia disease

Hi all. This is one of my Astrantias and a close up of a leaf. It starts off very well and then this happens…every year. As well as the leaf discolouration, the flowers turn really dull. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it please? My other two astrantias are fine, by the way.

Thanks Simone, but I don’t think it’s that. I’ve never seen creatures on the plant and the discolouration is too evenly spread. Thanks anyway

Looks like Astrantia leaf miner to me.
How can you lie there and think of England

I don't think that is leaf miner, the pattern of damage is different. You don't see them on the leaf surface though, they dig tunnels between the upper and lower layers of the leaves.
Your damage looks to me more like some kind of fungal rust infection and if it were my plant I would remove it to avoid risk of it spreading to the others.

It has been like this for the past few years and has never affected other plants. I did wonder about rust but it didn’t seem to fit the bill somehow. Maybe i should just discard it.

Thanks but I’m not convinced it’s that
