Can we see the whole plant @KatieSimmonds5690 ? How are you growing them and where? What part of the country are you in?
It's normal for some tomato foliage to die off though, as the plants grow, so it may be nothing at all. It's often cold or sun and is rarely problematic  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Seems to be a big problem,  all the lower leaves have gone. If you take too many off the plant won’t survive.
Can you take a photo of the whole plant so we can see the growing conditions, pot size, compost, situation.
Have you let water get on the leaves, water compost only.

  • Hi and thanks for the replies, the Tom's are in 10 gallon grow bags,in standard vegtables growing compost.Im also in the south of wales, wich has gone from hot to very rainy lately,  they are moved under a plastic cover when it's raining so have some form of protection. No sigh of bugs etc.And i only ever water the soil not the leaves and water consistently every 2/3 days in the heat.I have removed a lot of the discoloured leaves. Thanks all.

They seem to be a bit late ?  I can't see any flower trusses on them but that could be my bad eyesight  ;)
What variety are they and when were they sown ?

For outdoor tomatoes in Wales I think they look fine.
Give them as much sun and heat as you can and try not to remove any more leaves.
The leaves get all sorts of marks and spots over the season - just ignore it.

Unless you're growing a bush variety it would have been best to remove the side shoots so you only have one stem to worry about.
Start feeding them when you can see the first tiny fruits forming.
But the thing they need most is sun and warmth.
     Good luck.

I think they look good, there’s flowers on them.  Do you know what the name is?

  • Yes one is a san marzano the other two are gardeners delight. And yes I will stop removing any more leaves from now on, i panicked and stripped one nearly bare couldent get that one in the pic. Thanks all realy appreciate the feedback.

Don’t  panic,  they’re fine,  it’s just that with some types you pick out the little side shoots,  some you just leave. Can you remember what they were? If not,  just leave them to do their own thing.
When  they form little tomatoes you can start feeding them with tomato feed,  instructions will be on the bottle so you know how much and how often to feed them.
