    I meant to add this last night but got distracted. These would have been the first flowers

    You can't see the entire spread of them [1 plant in each of those containers at the ends] but it gives you an idea of the size of area they cover

    I know they flowered for about another month or so. Lots of seed pods too. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I have let the plant fall back on itself and trail down from the ten foot point and it seems to be working. It is just starting to flower now. The challenge is to stop it eating the guttering.

    I read the title of this thread, and imagined some sort of bizarre domestic duelling tradition! At least I now know what the plant looks like.
