That is not what I said, who would be stupid enough to do that? I mean can I feed it in its supposed growing season (wisteria as well) until around late August/September? You don't feed dormant plants, that is as common sense as not walking off cliffs.
Mine is in a pot, hence why I'm asking. The soil where I live is atrocious (due to incompetent builders being too lazy to order skips to get rid of their waste, so they buried it in the back garden instead), which is why it is not in the ground.

They need to specify that on liquid fertiliser labels on the back of the bottle. I assumed the growing season meant until late August/late September but if you have to pack it in that early they should warn you.
Wakey wakey @elliotp981 They're selling their product to make profits. That's why a forum like this is useful to get past the marketing speak and get advice form experienced gardeners who have no commercial axe to grind.

There seems to be a slight 'fixation' about feeding though, especially artificial feeding in particular.
