Thalictrum foliage going red in July?

I have three new Thalictrum ‘Black Stockings’ in a partial shade location and all three are looking awfully autumnal for this time of year! About half the foliage is a bright red color now and there is some yellow as well. They’ve been in the ground since May and seemed more or less fine until a few weeks ago. We had a dry June, but I tried to keep them well watered. Now we’ve had a very very wet July so far. The neighboring plants seem happy enough.

I’m relatively new to the thalictrum family, so I have no idea what might be wrong. Any ideas or advice? Thank you!

I was thinking the same thing the other day. It looks very autumnal already whereas last year it lasted much longer.
