Plant ID

Saw this plant on the road side and took a sample. Unsure if this is the flower or the seedhead. Could anyone ID it for me please ? ๐Ÿ˜Š.ย ย Sorry pic is wrong way up ! ๐Ÿ˜‚

    Thanks for that info and thanks for uprighting my picture.ย 
    I always thought the smoke bush was taller with large roundish dark red leaves. This plant was about 1-5 m tall with small green teardrop shaped leaves. It could be a diffetent variety of Cotinus. Thankyou. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    I'm not sure that this is a variety of Cotinus.ย  I have a couple of green ones, the leaves are rounder, and the colour is more of a lime green, changing to a variety of shades of green as they age.


    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

    Cotinus can have green leaves, purple or even yellowish leaves.
    Do please go back and take more pics.

    I think it may be Cotinus coggygria 'Young Lady', which is grown mainly for its flowers, though it does have good autumn colour in a warm year.ย ย  :)
