Manky water in bottom of weed trug

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
After the rain last night, there's manky water in the bottom of my unemptied weed trug.
Is this water likely to be full of nutrients or disease? What if it was really stinky?

if it's only been there since last night, I'd just tip it onto the garden, unless it's got seeds in it

It has @Hostafan1 but what if it had been longer?

If the seeds are big enough, run the water thru a sieve and ditch the seeds ?  Depends on how short of water you are ?  If you have a lawn/grass area, just tip it on there.

No shortage of water at the moment @philippasmith2. It occurred to me that people make soup out of comfrey, maybe other weeds might have some value as fertiliser soup. Academic as I've poured it out into the nearest flower bed anyway.
