Dryopteris filix-mas?

Is this the male fern? It doesn't look like others that are nearby. One photo shows the stem (ignore the dutch rush in front).

    @bertrand-mabel There are some excellent photos on' fond of fronds' which might help. I am sure one of the experts will be along.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    It looks like my Dryopteris filix-mas Linearis Polydactila, which is male, but I'm no fern expert

    Following question....where did it come from? the other male ferns?

    No idea @bertrand-mabel It's a chicken and egg situation I think. Which came first, the male of the female?
