It seems that I'm gifted in the brainwave department. 🤣

Sometimes it takes me a while to get there but often I'll suddenly come up with a stroke of genius to overcome a problem or to get out of a pickle.

Yesterday's brainwave was to put in a goat track! Yes I have no goats. I do, however, have a very VERY steep bank which has defeated me for years. (See 'stinky bank').
I will be able to continue the grass up to it because it will still be at strimmable height (just) and then teeter along it to reach the top bit which can be planted with tumbling things.

At the minute it is a brown, flat face of nothing, south facing and begging for attention and soon it will be gorgeous. 😍

Today's brainwave has yet to happen but I'm looking forward to reading yours both garden and non-garden related.

Won't the goats eat it? But that could save strimming🤔

we lived in our last house for 8 years before I had a brainwave about what was wrong with the stairs. It had bugged us the whole time but we couldn't see a solution. Once I'd said it, it was completely obvious. Hope the goat track works out, but if not, I'm sure another brainwave will be along soon enough....

    Don't even joke!
I was talked out of getting a goat because 1. They smell and 2. They browse rather than graze. Sheep visit occasionally but they seem to wander on to greener pastures...

@raisingirl how does that happen? I was doing a crossword a couple of weeks ago when I noticed, at the ripe old age of 29 that Majorca is MAJOR and Minorca is MINOR. Who knew? 😳
