Would Lonicera Japonica be a problem for nearby woods?

    I don't think it's complicated at all really. Naturalists and those that are most worried about natural flora and fauna are always going to be pro natives and those that aren't so fussed, less so. It's probably best to think a little in the middle but truly native gardens can be a little sparse unless you grow lots of "weeds" and it can look far better if you have a nice base of natives and intersperse them with some more ornamental stuff. We don't have to grow everything for everything, just create little pockets of diversity for things. I don't grow stinging nettles because they are abundant locally and I don't want them in my small garden but I know how valuable they are to nature.
