Part Shade Clematis suggestion?

I am needing to replace a Clematis Montanna that is way too big for the site and clambers over everything and annoys the neighbour. I'm not experienced with clematis and can do with some suggestions. I have Ph7.5 soil and part shade. I also need it to be quite frost hardy as I am in a real frost pocket.

The alpinas and macropetalas are ideal for that, and they prefer poorer conditions generally, and don't like being planted deep like the large flowered types. They're all totally hardy in every way.

Hagley Hybrid is one to consider.
I had one growing up a north-facing porch years ago.
I gave it very little care, but it flowered continually throughout the summer and most of autumn.
