The base of the plant will be fine if you water it. If you want some more plants ,you can take cuttings from the bit that broke off.   Pull off some of the soft stems growing off the woody branch and poke them in a small pot of compost or put them in a jar of water until the roots emerge,, then put them in compost.

    Hi

    just saw this.

I ended up cutting the bigger branch that came off and cutting it off at 45 degrees and slicing in middle and placing honey and then placing in a pot and watering. Is that ok? I cut off a few off the smaller branches that came off the bigger branch.

Or did I just kill it…

    Honey??
You need to use the soft wood for cuttings. The soft stems with the leaves on, not the hard wood that's like a stick.

Honey is a natural antibacterial agent. Good for everything!

That won’t grow but if you pull off the green shoots from the side and put them in a glass of water they’ll soon shoot. Take the bottom leaves off as they will go slimy in the water.
