Beech Hedge Trimming Advice

I am wanting a beech hedge which was planted in Jan 2022 to grow to an height around 5/6 ft. Pictures attached show current size. What type of trim if any should I complete this year?

I wouldn't do much to that other than lightly trimming the sides. A few inches, and mainly anything long that's sticking out, if that makes sense. That will encourage more branching and thickening up.
In a few years it'll be a nice thick hedge. Keep it mulched well after rain too, and that will be good for the soil as well as water retention through summer if you're in a dry area. Once established, beech copes well with drier conditions though   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
