Tinsel plant ID please.

Any ideas? It looks very much like green tinsel (thin, crinkly plastic). The crushed leaves have no scent. Might be an indoor or outdoor plant; no idea. Asking for a friend. Plant ID apps say a type of asparagus fern. Thanks

Asparagus Densiflorus 'Sprengeri' that do look similar. Has anyone owned one who could confirm?
