Plants that will flower this Summer

Hello, I am looking for plants that, if sown now, will still flower this Summer. Any ideas? Thank you

Bit late to sow seeds now but you could try marigolds,  they’re quick growing, maybe cosmos they’re up in about 2 days.

Most plants take a few months to flower from seed , so you'd probably be looking at September at the earliest which is quite late on. Some sources suggest that various seeds will flower in shorter times but for me in NE England I haven't found this happens.

There are seeds you can set away for next year and you can root some cuttings in water if you want a quicker start.

You could try Nasturtiums @Sandra A , here's some more information: How To Grow And Care For Nasturtium | BBC Gardeners World Magazine

Thank you, have several growing at different stages  :)
  • Linaria maroccana are my go to for quick to bloom flowers. You definitely have plenty of time if you sow them now - I generally get flowers in less than two months.
