I decided to create a wild corner for our community allotment

Most of the rest of our plot we use to grow the usual vegetables like carrots, cauliflowers, cabbage etc but I turned one corner of it into a wild zone by putting in two bird tables, some goldcrest conifers, spruce, wildflower and allowed some grass to grow in this corner.

We've had an increase in the amount of birds visiting since the wild corner's inception and although I've not seen it for myself, a neighbor says they even saw a squirrel visit and climb onto one of the bird tables.

Below is some pictures of this wild corner and I was wondering if it would make a very good habitat for hedgehogs?

If there are hedgehogs in the vicinity and they have free access to your wild space, you may be lucky.  Keep an eye out for their faeces or put a trail camera out on the plot if that is feasible.  I'd not be overly thrilled about the Squirrel if it is a grey rather than a red.
Looks good tho so best of luck with your plot  :)
