cupressus goldcrest

hi,

i have some cupressus goldcrest on my terrase. some are growing ok, others have some brown branch like in photo. is lack of sun, because the part that is brown has more shadow?

    The shadowed side of one I had went partly brown so I expect so. Although the growth will be constrained in those planters, they do want to be big and will ultimately be unhappy there. Mine grew from a 60cm high plant to about 3 meters by 70cm in a few years. I would also worry about the weight of all those planters on your terrace and whether it’s structurally strong enough!

  • thank you for your help, i think is better to prune the goldcrest just to growth again
