Help about Philadelphus coronarius

Hi,

i have a philadelphus coronarius plant on my terrace. never had flowers and last month or two i see some leafs like burning. i sprinkle all days a litlle of water.
before it was most of time on the sun, since i saw the leafs like burning i change it to a space with some sun and shadow.

That's a potentially huge plant in a small container, its roots may have filled the pot. There are some small Philadelphus cultivars that might suit you better

I can only give you my honest opinion. Dump it, you can't rely on it recovering from this but it might spend a long time hovering between life and death. In the meanwhile it's not doing much for your garden enjoyment

It might recover if you plant it in the ground, if it's not already too far gone. The non-dwarf types of philadelphus aren't really suitable for growing in containers.
