Indoor plants - anyone selling?

Sandra ASandra A Posts: 146
Hello, apologies if I missed, but I have tried to find fellow members that are selling indoor plants here, at the forum. I would like to increase a bit my collection, I live in Durham and tried online groups, recycling websites and social media, with no success. Due to an health situation I will not be able to leave the house anytime soon, so I wanted to find people online that are selling little plants and could send, that are not ebay, etsy or amazon. Did I miss a post here at the forum with members selling? Thank you

You haven't missed anything. Advertising (via posts rather than paid-for ads) isn't allowed on here so I'm sure no forum members would have made posts selling plants.

We do have a thread where folk offer seeds, cuttings etc for free (sometimes we’ll ask for postage).

Maybe there’s something there for you?

No need to apologise @Sandra A ! You didn't do anything wrong. It was a reasonable question, but posts on here advertising stuff get flagged as spam pretty quickly and taken down for the mods to look at. They pretty much never reappear, and are usually advertising random irrelevant stuff anyway.

Thank you, Jenny, I was really interested, I cannot go anywhere, I don't know how much time I have left, and plants are something that makes my day, but after a few nasty surprises, I have given up buying online, unless it is from someone really reputable. Apologies for the stupid post, I should have read more about rules before posting.

I've just seen this post and would have suggested the swap thread that @Dovefromabove has given and I hope that is useful to you @Sandra A.
I can't see that your post would have attracted flags as you weren't posting a direct link and therefore the flagging as @JennyJ describes, so you've not done anything wrong - not a stupid post at all  :)
I hope there's something that suits you on the swap thread  :)

Thank you both, that is very kind. I could not find anything until now, see my luck, the offer I had was for plants I already have  :) actually, I have given a lot of spider plants, hoya, peace lilly, aloes and more recently, I had several Monstera deliciosa. I almost lost my Boston fern because it loves to be inside a bucket of water. I missed one beat and lost 3 of them.
Am I allowed to post some photos just to show the plants that I have?
The extras I take are the babies from these parents.
