Novice with wild flowers

Could you please help me identify these two wild plants? Thanks in advance.

    First one is speedwell, second one is wheat  probably dropped from bird food.

    I think the first one looks more like alkanet or Alkanna tinctoria, pretty but a thug.

    I think the first one is Green Alkanet and the second is wheat.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    When we moved into our present house, I made the mistake of thinking the wildflower in the corner looked pretty. Turned out it was green alkanet. Was only one plant then. Should have hoiked it out there and then. Now I'm fighting a constant battle with it.
  • Thanks very much to all for your help and advice.  It looks like there is one to actively discourage so that's a job for the weekend!
