What is this very nice smelling tree?

Walked past it in our local park. Smells so nice as if someone who just showered and shampooed walked past me...  :p

My ID app says it's Large Leaf Lime, not sure if that's correct? Looked it up not many websites mentioned the incredible smell... Thanks!

The Lime most familiar to me is a cross between small leafed and large leaved.  Tilia xEuropaea.  It's scent is famous especially from the Unter-den-Linden in Berlin.  Scent is nor mentioned enough in garden plants.

The downside is that it tends to host aphids and drip sticky honeydew.  Never park under one.

It is a lime tree and it is scented. I have one. Bédé is correct about not parking under it!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
