New Laurel Hedge
Hi all, new here and would appreciate some help in regards to the below. I recently planted a new laurel hedge and followed the instructions provided to me by my local garden centre to ensure that it was done properly. The laurel is about 4ft tall and it was pot grown. Once the individual holes were dug out, both bone meal and fresh soil were added prior to planting the laurel and giving it a good soak. It’s been a few days now and I have noticed that the tips at the very top of 2 of them are wilting for some reason but the rest of the laurel itself looks fine. The 2 in question are not next to one another and there is no issue with the remaining 30 or so that are also planted along the same border.

It's a difficult time of year to plant any shrub, or hedge, especially at that height. They'll need a lot of water, and it's better to cut them back a bit too, to relieve stress until they're established well, which won't be until winter, or longer.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
