Purple toadflax problems

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
There's not so much toadflax in my garden as usual. Last year's weather was the problem, I suppose.
What there is, is being decimated* by the brocade moth. Should I let nature take it's course or intervene?
*actually being destroyed by well over a tenth!

Let nature take its course. They will drop seed anyway and you will have more plants

That's my inclination, but I found a couple on nearby plants after they'd stripped a toadflax, which is a slight concern. Hopefully it won't be to their taste.
PS. They eat the seeds too!
