Viburnum burkwoodii brown leaves

Hi, does anyone know why this viburnum has developed crispy brown leaves and stems in the last fortnight? It's planted in shade and is well watered. It went in 18 months ago and was fine until recently. The last photo shows a second viburnum that was planted 1.5 metres away at the same time, this one is still thriving. Many thanks.
