Rust on Amelanchia Ballerina

Advise needed please. I recently moved house and rehomed my 2yr old Amelanchia Ballerina. I have been watering it regularly and have fed and mulched it. It now has rust on every single leaf. I really don't want to lose it. Thank you.

Digging up and moving any tree or shrub at this time of year, or recently, will always be difficult, and very stressful for the plant, unless you have perfect conditions and a suitable climate for doing it.

  • True, and the soil is acidic where it had a neutral soil before. Poor love.  :'(

Acidic soil is fine for them. It's the disturbance at a 'not ideal' time of year that will be far more problematic.
