Windmill palm tree

I moved my windmill palm  to my new house 11 months ago. It done well for first few months but leafs have gradually turned brown. I have removed dead ones to leave a few short new ones attempting to grow....they are a mix of green and brown.....do you think the tree is now beyond saving after nearly a year?

You will need to provide more information to get any advice.  A rough location and aspect plus a photo if you can would help.
Also, how old is the palm and what size ?  Was it kept in a pot at your previous house and is it still in a pot now ?  Alternatively, did you dig the palm up and then re plant in the ground at your new house ?  If so, did you prepare the new planting site before replanting ?
The extremes of weather - wet/freezing/drought over the last 12 months has proved a problem for many of our plants in the UK.
  • The are in West of Scotland, tree was planted in garden in Old house and replanted in garden here. Ground was prepared with fertiliser etc and tree was very healthy for a few months. Palmwas planted in our garden over 10 years ago and 4 foot in height  was planted when very small. It is a bit more breezy on site we are on now. Not sure whether to give up on it or leave it for a while longer to see if there is any new green growth 🤔😢

I wouldn't bother with that. If you like them, get a new one, and create a proper border for it.  :)
Digging up a mature plant, of any kind, and re planting is always difficult, and in the recent weather we've had here, it will have struggled more, especially as it doesn't have a proper bed and is in the grass. All competition for it.
It will have been ok initially because the conditions might have been reasonably ok for it,  but it takes a long time to re establish a mature plant of any kind, even with perfect conditions, and the weather here has been very hot and miss for doing that - swinging from one extreme to the other for the last year or so.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
